Finding support

Is Ablepoint an agency?

No. Ablepoint is a marketplace. You choose independent workers, agree the details with them directly, and we provide the tools, the checks and the support around that.

Who can create an account?

People who need support, people who manage support for someone else, and support workers. Organisations register separately and are approved by our team.

What does it cost?

Workers set their rates, from $42 an hour. A platform fee is shown before you accept any agreement. There is no subscription.

Can I use my NDIS or aged care funding?

Yes, for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS plans and for home care packages, depending on how they are managed. See the pricing page for details.

Support workers

What do I need to join?

An ABN, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, infection control training, two references and a profile. Some supports need qualifications or registration.

How and when am I paid?

After a client approves your hours, an invoice is created. Card payers are charged, plan managers and providers are invoiced, and your share is paid to your bank account.

Do I have to accept every request?

No. You choose your clients, your hours and your area.

Safety and privacy

Where is my information stored?

In Australia. Health information is encrypted and shown only to people you authorise.

What if something goes wrong?

Report it in the app or contact us. Our safeguarding team follows up every report.

Ready to find support that fits?

Creating an account takes about two minutes. You choose who you work with, and you can stop at any time.
