Pricing
Clear before you commit.
Workers set their own rates. Ablepoint adds a platform fee that you see before you accept any agreement. No subscription, no joining fee, nothing hidden.
- Verified workers only
- Fees shown before you book
- Designed to be accessible
- Built and hosted in Australia
How it adds up
The worker's rate
Set by the worker, from $42 an hour, and agreed with you in writing. Different rates can apply to evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The platform fees
A fee is added to what you pay and a fee is deducted from what the worker receives. Both are shown on the agreement before anyone accepts it.
Travel and cancellations
Only what you agreed, applied the same way every time.
By the way you pay
- Paying by card
- Your saved card is charged after you approve each session, for the agreed hours plus the platform fee.
- Plan-managed NDIS
- Your plan manager receives the invoice. Rates are checked against the NDIS price limits for your supports.
- Self-managed NDIS
- You receive the invoice and the records you need to claim.
- Aged care funding
- Invoices go to you or your provider, depending on how your package is managed.
The exact fee percentages are published before launch
Fees are set as versioned rules, so the fee on an invoice never changes after the fact. We will publish the percentages here, and on every agreement, before Ablepoint opens.
Common questions
Is there a subscription or joining fee?
No. Creating an account is free for everyone. You pay only for support you book.
Why is there a fee?
The fee pays for verification, agreements, invoicing, payments, the safeguarding team and the platform itself.
Can fees change?
Fee rules are versioned and dated. A change applies only to sessions after it takes effect, and we tell you before it does.
Ready to find support that fits?
Creating an account takes about two minutes. You choose who you work with, and you can stop at any time.
