From session to bank account

The session happens
You log the hours and any travel against the booking, with a short note.

The client approves
The client, or the person managing their account, approves the hours. Approved hours become an invoice automatically.

You are paid
Private clients are charged their saved card. Plan managers and providers are invoiced. Your share is paid to your bank account, and you can see the status at every step.

- Your rate is yours
- From $42 an hour. Set different rates for weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- The platform fee
- A fee is deducted from each payment to you, and a separate fee is added to what the client pays. Both are shown on every agreement before anyone accepts it.
- Travel and cancellations
- Agree travel terms and a cancellation policy in writing. They are applied the same way every time.
- Tax and super
- As a contractor you handle your own tax and superannuation. We give you the records you need.
Common questions
Am I an employee of Ablepoint?
No. You work for yourself as an independent contractor with your own ABN. You set your rates, choose your clients and look after your own tax and superannuation.
Do I need qualifications?
It depends on the support. Social and domestic support needs the required checks and training; personal care, nursing and allied health need qualifications or registration, which we verify.
How quickly can I start?
Once your checks and documents are verified, your profile goes live. Most of the wait is the NDIS Worker Screening Check, so apply for it early.
